Meet William Tyndale

Where was he born? We don't know. When was he born? We can't be sure. Who were his parents? We have no idea. Where did he go to school? We are not certain about that either. Why was he master of the mysterious? Because he made the greatest book in the world make sense to everyone.

But we do know that he was:
A man who had two names..
Hunted by the king's soldiers..
An outlaw in Europe running from city to city..
A man who worked all day and into the night..
Betrayed and thrown into a cold, dark dungeon cell.....
... finally, he was strangled and burnt at the stake!

And he knew what lay ahead if he was ever caught. So, what was he doing and why did he risk it?

This is the story of one of England's greatest men who gave us the greatest gift of all...
